About Amanda!

Amanda Niday is a Portland-based freelance illustrator with a special interest in comics and portrait work. She studied at both PNCA and PSU, and holds a BA in Art History: Art Practices. She also participated in the first year of the Comics Studies program at PSU, where she studied under Portland's finest comic writers, and helped found a comics collective with four other women.

Much of Amanda's work is based in character design, the human form, and transformative works within pop culture. Her background as an art historian grants her perspective on the influences of the past, the pulse of the present and the breakable boundaries of the future.

She is available for commercial work, gallery exhibitions, and other creative projects. Feel free to contact her with inquiries!
